¼ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

¼ tsp cardamom
2 tbs Butter
1 tbs vanilla
tea. Melt butter and mix all ingredients. Spread on cake after it has cooled.

Basil is also a powerful aphrodisiac herb. It is easily grown in pots or directly in the ground in most climates. Basil can also be easily purchased in spice sections of your grocery store and lately, fresh bags are found in the produce section of grocery stores and health and natural food stores. Basil is a good addition to almost any dish and sprinkled on salads or in soups. Basil increases fertility and enhances sex drive.

A good salad dressing or sauce for cooked vegetables is made with fresh basil and keeps well for a few days in the refrigerator:
½ cup of olive oil
1 tbs of honey
1/3 cup of white or red wine vinegar
2/3 cup of fresh Basil leaves chopped
Sea salt and white or black pepper to taste
Fresh garlic clove, mashed – if desired.
Mix all ingredients and shake well. Keep in a glass jar. This is also good mixed with soba
or homemade ravioli noodles if the vinegar is omitted.

Basil also makes spaghetti sauce special and imparts a smooth taste. Old-fashioned Sicilian sauce has lots of basil. It is a sweeter tasting spaghetti sauce :

2 small cans of tomato sauce
1 small can of tomato paste
One can or 3 fresh roma or other type of tomatoes
black olives, to taste
2 zucchini, chopped
1 small onion, yellow or sweet white
4 garlic cloves, crushed
Fresh Basil, to taste
This sauce is good with just the vegetables or … any sweet Italian sausage, pork chops or spare ribs and beef stew meat or round steak can be added, if desired.

Mix all ingredients in a saucepan and enough water to barely cover, or to desired consistency. Simmer 30 minutes or more. Toss with desired noodles and serve with fresh Parmesan or Romano cheese and more chopped fresh basil leaves.
